Worship

Worship at Keneseth Israel is a vibrant and joyous experience. We welcome all who come through our doors, and take pride in an egalitarian service, designed to inspire and energize, provide time for contemplation and to share in a communal worship experience.

Our musical director, Karen Berta, has been at KI for over 30 years, and works hard to keep abreast of contemporary Jewish music. She carefully works with the Rabbi to have music that enhances the topic of the weekly parshah as well as secular holidays.

Likewise, our choir is composed of talented music professionals who share their voices with us every Friday evening, at all Bar or Bat Mitzvahs, the holidays, and other special occasions.
