Keneseth Israel offers so many events to enhance your experience. Our committees and groups really do an excellent job at creating fun-filled activities for you and your family. They range from a variety of Shabbat worship experiences, BBQs, blood drives, baseball outings, charity runs, Purim Shpiels, arts and crafts, sing for your supper, women’s Seder, Family Promise, educational lectures, challah and latke making, musical programs, Annual Gala, Shabbat yoga, Scholar in Residence, panel discussions, Sukkah activities, PrideFest, and additional off-site events. Learning at KI

Learning at KI

KI offers a wide range of learning opportunities; such as Torah study with the Rabbi, Jewish education, Religious school for youth and adults, B’mitzvah preparation, conversion classes, and various educational programs. We provide innovative lectures, cultural activities, musical performances, film presentations with discussion, art interpretations, and much more. If you are searching for a spirited close-knit experience, KI tries very hard to offer a wide variety of ways to connect.

Since 1903, Keneseth Israel has been a vibrant and flourishing center of Jewish communal life in Allentown. Known for social action initiatives, beautiful music, learning opportunities for all ages and a warm, "haimish" atmosphere, KI is your place to be Jewish.
