Introducing Exploring Judaism: A New Educational Experience
We are excited to announce Exploring Judaism, a new educational offering that brings together the most meaningful and engaging elements of our popular Taste of Judaism and Introduction to Judaism programs.
Designed around the questions and topics that those exploring Judaism most want to understand, Exploring Judaism offers an engaging and welcoming introduction to Jewish life, beliefs, history, and practice.
Program Details
Tuesdays | 7:00–9:00 PM
October 20 & 27
November 10, 17 & 24
December 1, 8 & 15
Each of the eight sessions is independent, allowing participants to attend a single class or experience the entire series.
The curriculum combines introductory teaching, guest speakers, and interactive activities designed to deepen understanding and enrich the learning experience. Topics include:
- Judaism’s Core Beliefs
- Jewish History and Identity
- Similarities and Differences Between Christianity and Judaism
- Sacred Texts
- Jewish Culture
- Life Cycle Events
- Jewish Holidays and Observances
And because learning about Judaism should engage all the senses, each session will feature light refreshments related to the evening’s topic. Come taste the babka, nibble on the challah, and discover some of the most meaningful—and delicious—aspects of Jewish life and tradition.
Whether you are exploring Judaism for the first time, considering conversion, part of an interfaith family, or simply curious to learn more, Exploring Judaism offers a welcoming environment for conversation, discovery, and community.
